Summer of: 2000

We have been on the boat 73 days in 2000, plus we spent about 45 days on board just prior to leaving on our extended trip.
That’s about a third of a year on board with six of us.

We have traveled 2710 miles this Summer in 73 days.

We have traveled 3329 miles since we started the loop.

We have stopped in 40 different locations overnight this Summer.

We have gone through 11 States and two Provinces in Canada.

We have used a lot of Diesel Fuel. No, I'm afraid to add it up, it would be depressing.

We have been to, Jeckyl Island, GA, Hilton Head, SC, Beaufort, SC (Bew-fort), Charleston, SC, Georgetown, SC, N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Bald Head Island, NC, Cape Fear, Beaufort, NC (Bo-fort), New Bern, NC, Oriental, NC, Belhaven, NC, Coinjock, NC, Norfolk, VA, Cambridge, MD, Oxford, MD, St. Michaels, MD, Annapolis, MD, Baltimore, MD, Chesapeake City, Cape May, NJ, City, NJ, Manasquan, NJ (Pt. Pleasant Beach), Port Washington, NY, Newport, RI, Port Washington, NY, Kingston, NY, On the Erie Canal, NY on the lock walls a number of nights, Ilion Town Marina, Ilion, NY, Skinners Harbor, Sylvan Beach, NY, Phoenix, NY, On the lock Wall, Alexander Bay, NY, Kingstown, Ont, Canada, Jones Falls, Ont., Smith Falls, CN, Pirates Cove Marina, Dows Marina, Ottawa, Le Chateau Montebello, Quebec Club, Pointe Aux Anglais, Quebec Crysler Park Marina, Ont, Lawrence River, Bonnie Castle Alexander Bay, NY, Brewerton, NY Winter Harbor.

We count locks as we pass through them, we only count them once no matter how many times we may go through them. We passed through 89 locks on the loop so far.

We've had NO major failures. We've had no big surprises. We've had fun. A lot of fun.
